Maserati dent repair with PDR glue

We recently removed a dent in the “dogleg” section of a Maserati Ghibli. Because there is no way to gain access to the interior side of the sheet metal in this particular area of the vehicle, we utilized the “glue pulling” technique. The “dogleg” is the section of a sedan directly in front of the rear wheel. It is a thin area of metal that is usually completely sealed with an interior wheel house layer of metal.

PDR technicians always prefer to remove dents by pushing them from the underside of the metal with specialized tools. When that is not an option, we glue pull. This secondary method requires more time and is much more limited in the types of damage that can be repaired. However, often times glue pulling is an effective method for removing dents and dings on a section of the car that prevents access.
