Does Dent Hero provide mobile dent repair service?
Yes and no. Dent Hero does offer mobile PDR service to our B2B body shop and car dealership clients. However, for the most efficient and precise repair, we prefer to work on individual retail client cars indoors at our location in Arlington, Virginia. We do make exceptions, and provide retail mobile dent repair on a limited basis.
Mobile PDR offers you a convenient way to get your dents fixed. Several companies all over the US and world only offer mobile dent repair service, opposed to a brick and mortar dent shop. Most mobile PDR businesses offer dent repair service to car dealerships, auto auctions, rental fleets, body shops, and individual retail clients. Mobile dent work has its advantages and flexibilities. However, working outside introduces variables that can make PDR repairs more challenging. Weather is the major factor. Variability in sunlight, wind, extreme hot and cold temperatures, along with rain can all prohibit an excellent PDR repair. It’s no fun trying to fix a dent when your fingers are freezing. Cold temperatures also make the paint on your car more brittle and susceptible to cracking/splitting when PDR tools are used to push out dents.
Dent Hero specializes in premium PDR repairs for individual retail and body shop clients. Rather than focus on volume and speed in the wholesale market, we like to take our time and perfect each individual dent repair job. Indoor work space offers the most ideal environment for excellent PDR repairs. Our location in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, VA allows us to control lighting along with temperature and stay out of the rain, wind and snow. We try to have most of our clients meet us here, rather than traveling to their home or work.
On occasion Dent Hero will offer mobile service to individuals. Sometimes we have clients with multiple vehicles that require dent work. Other times our clients just don’t have the time or flexibility to make it to our shop. In these cases we can make exceptions and offer mobile dent repair service. However, mobile service is limited depending on how busy we are, the weather, and your location (we prefer to stay inside the DC beltway). It also helps if you have a garage we can work in. Mobile service is not available to schedule online. If you require mobile dent repair please call us and we will figure out a way to get your dents fixed.
Our location
Dent Hero is located inside Mercedes-Benz of Arlington. We have our own dedicated space inside the service department, working side by side with Mercedes-Benz technicians. We certainly fix a lot of Mercedes. However, we do work on all makes and models and look forward to fixing your car and welcoming you the the dealership. Sorry, we do not have any signs or a storefront. This makes it hard to find us without reaching out via phone call, text, or email. This is also why all estimates and repairs are by appointment only.
Our partnership with Mercedes-Benz of Arlington allows us access to their amazing facility and amenities. It also places us in a prime retail location in the heart of Arlington, just over the Potomac River from Washington, DC. Some of the benefits of our location include 24 hour drop off and pickup, lounge with workspaces and wifi, 10 minute walk to metro, 5 minute walk to several shops and restaurants at Ballston Quarter and Wilson Boulevard.
