Acorn damage on your car? Dent Hero can help.

acorn Arlington, Virginia

Tis the season for Halloween, Thanksgiving, beautiful autumn leaves, and falling acorns. If your vehicle fell victim to fallen acorns while parked along one of Washington, DC’s or Arlington’s many tree lined streets we can help. Acorn damage is very similar to hail damage. Dent Hero uses the same estimating and repair process to bring your car back to new. Dents and dings caused by acorns can vary greatly. Some cars only have a few dents and can be repaired quickly and at a very reasonable price. However, sometimes a vehicle will sustain significant damage if parked under a larger mature Oak tree for a prolonged amount of time. In this case, we recommend contacting your insurance provider and filing an insurance claim. Dent Hero can guide you though the entire insurance claim process and repair. For a free inspection please call, email, or text us to schedule a day and time.

We recently removed over 100 large acorn dents from an Acura RDX in Falls Church, Virginia. This was an extremely difficult repair due to the size and depth of the dents. The multiple layers of reinforced metal on the underside of the roof created an even more challenging paintless dent repair. We took our time, slowly and methodically pushing each dent out by hand. The hard work and patience paid off in the end. Dent Hero was able to save the roof and shorten the repair cycle. The alternative repair method is to cut the damaged roof off and replace it with a new roof panel, which is very labor and time intensive.
