Leased vehicle with dents? We can help.

faq

Does your lease agreement end soon? Do you have dents on your car? Avoid expensive penalties by being proactive and fixing the dents before you turn in the car. Dents happen. We can help.

When you turn in your leased vehicle, it will be inspected by a representative for the manufacturer. If they find damage on the car, you may be charged a fee to have the dents and dings repaired. They will typically charge you a market rate price for conventional body shop repair and repaint. This price is often times higher than our method of repair (paintless dent repair). We have helped several people “clean up” their car before they turn it in to the leasing company. Often times it is a time sensitive situation, where a client contacts us a week or so before the turn in date. Because PDR is an extremely fast repair process compared to traditional body work, we are able to accommodate their last minute request.

Keep in mind, the leasing company does allow minor “wear and tear” damage on your car. Typically they will allow a few minor dents smaller than the size of a credit card. However, lease agreements can vary. We recommend reading your contract before you decide to fix any damage before turning in your car. You can also take your car to the participating dealership to have a pre lease turn-in inspection. Dent Hero can also give you a free inspection and recommendations on what damage needs to be addressed. If interested, please click on our contact page to get in touch and schedule an appointment.
