How we price paintless dent repair

No two car dents are the same. Dents in your vehicle do not just “pop out.” Each dent has to be slowly and methodically sculpted back to its original shape by hand. Each dent has it’s own unique set of characteristics such as depth, size, metal type, accessibility, and body panel contours. Rather than pulling a price out of thin air, we prefer to use specialized PDR industry software to calculate accurate prices for our dent repair service.

Dent Hero proudly uses Mobile Tech RX for our estimating, invoicing, and business analytics. Mobile Tech RX was built by former PDR technicians to help manage their business more efficiently and provide a more professional service to their clients. The software has since grown substantially through grass roots marketing in the paintless dent repair world and venture capital funding.

We love the software and view it as an essential tool in running our day to day operations. The pricing algorithm is at the heart of the software. When we inspect a ding or dent on your car, we enter basic data points about the damage into the software. Mobile Tech RX then calculates an accurate and consistent price. Consistency is the key. Every time you have your car inspected for PDR, you are getting an accurate price from us or any other reputable PDR company using Mobile Tech RX. The software eliminates large fluctuations in dent repair pricing.

Pricing for standard door dents starts at $155 for a 1 inch dent and increases due to various factors (size, depth, metal type, location, accessibility, body contours, etc). Most of our paintless dent repair jobs cost $155-500. Sometimes we fix larger more complex damage that can cost $750-1500. Often times our pricing is less expensive than a conventional body shop repair and repaint. Our repair process also takes a few hours versus a few days that is usually required at a body shop for a conventional body repair and repaint. We also can give discounts for multiple dents on a vehicle.
